Dr. G.J. Linker received his education at the University of Groningen. He completed his PhD research in 2016 in the Theoretical Chemistry Group at the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials.
The institute is an internationally recognized, leading, materials research and training institute with the focus on the design and scientific study of materials for functionality.
The topic of his PhD research is the thermal phase transition in an organic crystal: (EDO-TTF)2PF6. Dr. Linker continued his affiliation as a post-doc until 2018 at the institute before continuing as an independent scientist at Linker SCS.
Dr. Linker’s main expertise is in the use of ab initio quantum chemical methods and DFT. He specialises in performing periodic ab initio calculations on molecular materials.
